I received an email from a head hunter for an "Electro-Mechanical Reliability Engineer" position. Not only do I not know what that is, but I have no Electro, Mechanical, or Reliability skills in my toolbox.
But boy, if I was one of these fancy engineers, I'd have a hard time with all of these acronyms (not to mention learning about this thing they call annalyses)!
Provide reliability and maintainability analysis: MTBF, FMEA, MTTR, FTA and related annalyses. Perform reliability, maintainability, system safety, diagnostics/testability, human factors and logistics engineering tasks. MIL STD familiarity a plus.
